A Salute to the 127th Air Refueling Group

(inspiring orchestral music) – Coming to you today
from Normandy France, I’m General Slocum. You know it’s great to participate in the 74th anniversary of D-Day. When you see what the
men and women sacrificed in 1944 to make this happen here. It really kind of though, makes me reflect on the
capabilities of our Wing today, and the things that we can do. Certainly we have the ATIVS and the 107th and the history that
come back here to D-Day. But I also think of our KC-135s and what a force enabler they are. What used to take a whole lot of airplanes now doesn’t take as many. What used to take a
whole lot of investment, now we can do it a much
more efficient way. We can get places, we can do things that we’ve never been able to do before and it’s a large part due to our KC-135s, and it’s not just the equipment, it’s the men and women,
you, that make this happen. I would today just like to
give an extra special shout out to the 127th Air Refueling Group. When we celebrate our
heritage and the freedoms that we have it’s because
of things like this, and it’s the forces that you enable, the things that you provide to our country fighting for our freedom
to make this possible. So a salute to all the men and women of the Air Refueling Group. (inspiration orchestral music) (rhythmic guitar licks)
