Area 51 | Before They Were Famous | A Million People To Storm Area 51

Before almost 1 Million people would sign
up for the Facebook event “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All Of Us“ which would
set the internet ablaze with meme's. Before public interest would result in the
passing route 375 being renamed the 'Extraterrestrial Highway' by the state of Nevada and Area 51
would be featured in the film Independence Day. Before Area 51 would become the source location
for never ending conspiracy theories about extra terrestrial life including reverse engineering
Alien technology, experiments on Alien life, cross breeding, time travel and more. Area 51 also known as Homey Airport, Groom
Lake, Site II, Dreamland and Paradise Ranch has been fascinating the world since the CIA
set up the test facility back in 1955. It would take 50 years before the American
government would publicly acknowledged the base's existence and declassify documents
detailing it's history and purpose. Despite their claims that it's simply a test
facility for man made military air crafts most people are convinced. At the time of this recording the internet
has banned together in hopes of freeing them aliens! I've looked into the details about breaking
into this base and it's no easy task. The place is heavily guarded with CCTV cameras,
buried motion sensors and camo dudes carrying M16's who have the authority to use deadly
force on anyone who dares to trespass. With that said, have they been trained for
Naruto Runners? What's going on guys? It's your boy Michael McCrudden and I'll be
driving through the Nevada desert this coming weekend with my girlfriend. Were heading to LA and driving to Veges. If enough of you guys hit me with some DM's
over on Instagram at McCruddenM I might just make a detour to Area 51. Earlier this year we hit you guys with a Before
They Were Famous on the Ancient Aliens guy and if you guys like this video we could make
one of Lil Mayo. You know this guy… Just for reference, the famous alien crash
that happened in Roswell New Mexico took place in 1947. You can imagine the CIA needed a place to
test their weather balloons in more privacy. Previous to this during World War 2, the airfield
on the Groom Lake site began service in 1942 as Indian Springs Air Force Auxiliary Field
and consisted of two unpaved 5000-foot runways. Attracted by it's remote location for secrecy
CIA director Clarence "Kelly" Johnson took ownership of the airfield in 1955 and began
development and test flights for the Lockheed U-2. A plane that provided day and night, all weather,
high altitude intelligence gathering equipment – meaning if something was gonna spot a
UFO it probably be this bad boy. The Nevada desert also offers a mild climate
allowed for few delays in test runs. The lakebed of Groom Lake offered an ideal
strip of land for take offs and landing and the surrounding mountains made it hard for
outsiders to access. Eventually efforts were made to shut down
outside activities like the local mining which pushed away most locals in the area. It's proximity to Las Vegas made it easily
accessible for crew and supply runs and Clarence "Kelly" Johnson went around calling the place
the The Paradise Ranch in an attempt to get workers to move there which at first was a
bit of a stretch for a namesake. In it's first year of operation Area 51 was
little more than a runway, a couple of hangers, some trailers and storage tanks. By 1962 the place had been built up offer
130 long term housing complexes, the main runway had doubled in size. They could now hold over 1.3 million gallons
of fuel and there were multiple hangers, buildings – the place had become legit! They began developing drones similar to the
Lockhead U-2 but far more advanced as America kept it's eyes on threats from like the Soviet
Union and later Vietnam. Throughout the 60's there were plenty of planes
taking off from Area 51 hitting places all over the world from SR-71 Blackbirds, and
the A-12 or OXCART. During these years there were constant reports
of Unidentified Flying Objects being seen in the sky around the base. These objects were described as moving faster
than a bullet, fiery in appearance. Many of these claims could easily be debunked
as man made crafts but others were less convinced. From the 70's a memo written by CIA director
William Colby was found referred to the area stating:
“The CIA considered no other spot on Earth to be as sensitive as Groom Lake.” People suspected all sorts of things were
going down at Area 51. Reverse engineering of alien spacecrafts. Meetings with extraterrestrials. Experiments on dead or alive aliens. Time travel and teleportation technology,
cloning alien viruses, developing advanced weapons, weather control and underground tunnels
and laboratories also cross breeding. In the 80's, Area 51 was responsible for the
development of the F-117 Nighthawk before it was moved to another airbase in Nevada. This was the same decade that gave the public
wild revelations from former base employees like Bob Lazar who spoke about their on alien
technology. Bob Lazar a physicist and scientist who worked
on reverse engineering alien spacecraft in a base near Area 51. I watched the recent Netflix doc on Bob Lazar
who still stands by his revelations to the world which put his life at risk. There were several spacecraft with space bending
technology that was impossible to have come from this earth. Others have also made claims about working
at the base, some with aliens one named J-Rod who was telepathic. I actually found video of a J Rod Interview: There were also mysterious deaths surrounding
a number of base workers. Conspiracy theories began to snowball and
Area 51 became the mecca for Alien and UFO enthusiasts. The first episode of Star Trek aired in 1966. Close Encounters of Third Kind hit theatres
in 1977 same as the first Star Wars film. Aliens in 1979 and by then the culture had
exploded – these were the days before the internet. With so much public interest the small local
town of Rachel Nevada, current population of around 51 people transformed their burger
shop into an alien themed restaurant. There is also a 12 room motel and a small
tourist shop. Plenty of YouTubers have gone for themselves
and it appears everyone regrets the voyage. By 1995 Area 51 made great efforts to push
back outside interest. They expanded the surrounding borders of almost
4,000 acres laying fence and warning signs including any nearby mountains that offered
a view of their facilities and runway. The perimeter of the base is marked out by
orange posts reading that deadly forces is authorized for trespassers. The grounds are patrolled by guards in white
pickup trucks and camouflage outfits – commonly referred to as camo dudes. The best bet to get a good view of the base
is a spot known as Tikaboo Peak which is 26 miles away, again plenty of YouTubers have
taken the hike. It would take 50 years before the CIA publicly
acknowledged the existence of the base declassifying documents detailing the history and purpose
of Area 51. Aright, let's talk about this recent Facebook
movement to storm the base. On June 27th 2019, "Smyleekun" created the
Facebook event "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us," scheduled to happen on September
20th, 2019. The description reads, "We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien
Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry.” “If we Naruto run, we can move faster than
their bullets. Lets see them aliens." The post went viral and everyone began sharring
their own various plans of attack. From Rock Throwers to Kyles with Monster Energy
and Clickbait Vloggers & more the internet had it's fun. So much so that Area 51 had to release a statement. “(Area 51) is an open training range for
the U.S. Air Force, and we would discourage” “anyone from trying to come into the area
where we train American armed forces.” “The U.S. Air Force always stands ready
to protect America and its assets.” I got a feeling something is still gonna go
down. I'm down to even go there myself but you guys
gotta hit me up in the DM's to make it worth it. As for the rest of the story, well we are
gonna wrap this one up here because this is Before They Were Famous. My name is Michael McCrudden…
