have all of that out the way let’s talk more about the Chase freedom card. The
chase freedom card is pretty much known for being a five percent cashback card
on certain purchases in each quarter. So in other words there are four quarters
of the year and for each quarter in the year you can get 5% cash back on certain
purchases. For example the first quarter of this year you were able to get five
percent cashback on your gas purchases, on your internet bill, your cable bill if
you use Google pay, Samsung pay, Apple pay,
Walmart pay. So in other words what that means is you were able to get five
percent cashback on not only gas and your internet bill, in your cable bill,
but you are also able to get five percent cashback if you paid using
Samsung pay, Apple pay, Walmart pay and Google pay. For me that would be
Apple pay because I would be using Apple pay, so in other words I was able to get
five percent cash back on purchases that I made that did not that was not only
gas in cable and internet bill it was anything that I could use if I could use
Apple pay to pay for it. I would get five percent cash back so that was pretty
cool that chase opened it up and started the year off in a great way that way
because it didn’t only restrict you to just a couple of things in the quarter.
It basically opened it up where if you we’re using Apple pay in my case to pay
for anything you get 5% cash back. So it’s pretty much a 5% cash back card and
then 1% on all other purchases. So once again it’s there’s four quarters in a
year and for each of those quarter you are able to get 5% cash back on certain
things in that particular quarter. So this quarter right now the second
quarter of 2018 it is 5% cash back on grocery store purchases. So anytime you
buy something at a grocery store. You get 5% cash back on that. What we’re
gonna do now for this portion of the video is I’m gonna jump on over to my
laptop and we’re gonna have a look at the website so that we can find out a
little bit more of what you can expect if you’re considering getting the Chase
Freedom Card. So give me one second and I’m gonna jump on my laptop, I’ll see you
on the laptop. Okay so we’re at the website here there’s gonna be a link in
the description below you can use that link to get to this website. That’s my
referral link if you sign up for the Chase Freedom Card using that link you
will be helping out the channel and we will greatly appreciate that. So we’re at
the website here and as you can see it says to get $150 bonus after you spend
$500 on purchases your first three months from opening the account. There’s
no annual fee for this card and I’ll just kind of scroll down here so you can
see on the Chase Freedom Card it says earn 5% cash back on up to $1500 in
combined purchases in bonus categories each quarter you activate. So basically
there’s different quarters throughout the year and you can earn cashback 5%
cash back on certain things. I’ll show you guys the calendar here so as you can
see here on the left it says the first quarter from January to March on gas
station you can get 5% cash back on gas, internet bill, cable bill, phone
services. You can get 5% when you use Chase pay, Google pay, Apple pay and
Samsung pay. That was a really strong way to open the year, chase did a really good
job of giving a strong promotion for the beginning of for the first quarter in
2018. The fact that you can use Apple pay or or Google pay or Samsung pay or even
chase pay and get 5% cash back on your purchases. Basically that means that
anywhere that you used that type of way to pay for your
transaction whether it’s chase pay, Google pay, Apple pay or Samsung pay. If you use
that and you use your Chase Freedom Card you’re gonna get five percent cashback
not just on gas but anything that you use your Apple pay chase pay Google pay
and Samsung pay to pay for including your internet bill in your cable bill
your phone services and gas. So that was a really strong way to open up the year
2018 and for the first quarter. The second quarter in 2018 as you can see
here in grocery stores to get five percent cashback on grocery stores and
so the last two quarters of the year they don’t they haven’t shown us yet
what exactly we’re gonna get five percent cashback on, but as you can see
the first two quarters are things that we all need gas we need groceries you
know you pay your internet bill your phone bill your cable bill. And so that’s
very easy to rack up five percent cashback if you’re doing that it’s also
really easy to meet the $500 within the first three months because you can just
pay those bills your phone bill your cable bill your internet bill your car
insurance. That alone right there for the first two months should meet your five
hundred dollars spending requirement in order to get the $150. So that’s pretty
cool the Chase freedom card also offers you another way to get more money. You
can get $25.00 after you add your first authorized user and make your first
purchase in your first three months from opening the account. So you just add
somebody as an authorized user it’s free to do, so you can add a spouse, you can
add a child, you can add a boyfriend. Whoever you want right it doesn’t matter
who you add as soon as you add them and they make their first purchase the first
purchase could be, you know it could be some gum or a Snickers bar it doesn’t
matter what the purchase is you’re gonna get $25. So you’ll get points for you get
points for meeting the spending requirement the five hundred dollars in
two three months and the you’ll get more points for adding a authorized user and
what you can do is you can take those points and redeem them for cashback and
if you have a chase account a chase checking account you can actually get
the money transferred directly into your Chase account which is
what I experienced personally. I had the money transferred into my Chase account
and it was 175 dollars so it’s pretty cool.
Another thing that’s also cool about the chase freedoom card is that there is low
intro APR. In other words for the first 15 months you get 0% interest on your
purchases and after the first 15 months then it goes up to between sixteen point
four nine percent and twenty five point two four percent. And then it also talks
about balance transfers and the same kind of thing there’s a zero APR
introductory rate for the first 15 months and so on and so forth. Tt talks
about the credit journey you’re actually able to get your credit report with
Chase and there’s zero liability protection, there’s purchase protection,
there’s extended warranty protection. This card is really really good I
actually had the chase freedom unlimited card and I transferred from that card to
the Chase freedom card because I was like man I’m gonna get more money
because the five percent cashback is good and then the one percent is okay on
other purchases that aren’t in the category so if you’re really considering
getting this Chase Freedom Card I would totally do. It’s a great card and
you’re gonna get a lot of cash back just making everyday purchases you’re not
gonna have to spend outside of your regular means that you do every single
month. So if you’re interested in this card go and use a link below.
