Freedom fighter speech – Sarojini Naidu by Sreyanika Sridhar


I am Sarojini Naidu, the freedom fighter. I was born on 13th February 1879 in Hyderabad. I studied in Madras university and Cambridge university. I participated in Indian National movement and became Mahatma Gandhiji’s follower. I was jailed during Quit India movement. But I loved to serve my country so much. I was the first women leader of Indian National Congress and Governor of Uttar pradesh. I support women’s rights. that is Girls and boys equality. I love to write poems and they call me Nightingale of India Jai Hind!
