RIGHT NOW IN HOMEWOOD: THE CITY’S ANNUAL FOURTH OF JULY FESTIVAL IS GETTING UNDERWAY. BUT TONIGHT ALSO MARKS THE DEBUT OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT’S NEW CRIME FIGHTING TOOL. CBS 42 NEWS REPORTER ROBERT SHERMAN IS LIVE IN DOWNTOWN HOMEWOOD TONIGHT WITH MORE. ROBERT? THIS IS CALLED AN F-L-I-R WATCH TOWER WHICH CAN EXTEND 30 FEET HIGH AND MONITOR THE AREA 360 DEGREES AROUND. AND THIS NEW LAW ENFORCEMENT TECHNOLOGY DEBUTING TODAY IS PUTTING SOME BUSINESS OWNERS AT EASE. MARK SNYDER IS THE OWNER OF MARK’S JOINT IN HOMEWOOD.
