Panic to Freedom: Principle 1 ~ The Breath & The Body

in the next couple of videos Brian and I are going to share with you the four principles the four principles of panic to freedom these four principles are very interesting both Brian and I came to these in a space of awareness and complete separation but in coming together we realized we had found the same thing and that’s what we call them principles principles in that I can find them you can find them Brian can find them everyone can find them on your own if you want or perhaps with us sharing those principles with each other we can come to them in a much quicker much faster way that allows us to experience things in a calm fort of accelerated fashion of understanding and awareness and growth that’s what this program is really all about and that’s what these four principles are really all about so let’s begin with principle number one you the breath in the body specifically as it relates to panic and freedom the first principle is the breath and the body and what’s amazing about the breath is that it’s a way of really directly seeing if you’re in a space of anxiety or if you’re in a space of freedom if you’re in space of panic or if you’re in a space of inner peace you gave attention to the breath if your breath is slow and deep into the bottom of your stomach that means you’re in a space that’s relaxed and you’re in the space of a peace and your body is relaxed if your breath is tight it’s shallow into your into your neck then as I often say that means you’re lost in your head literally lost in your head so from the breath and the body perspective instead of spending all of our time up here which is not the present moment this is inside this cage of thoughts that happens if we bring our awareness back into the body now we can interact in a present moment not thinking about what’s not real or all that stuff that’s up there but back into what’s here and if you’re anything like me maybe you’ve spent a lot of time somewhere else and not really in this button but that’s what we want to do now let’s bring it back into this body in the present moment the breath and the body your thoughts become like rabbits breeding in and whether you punch in your thoughts they just expand has been and is one of our thoughts so how do we gather that we bring the attention to the breath and it’s so simple to realize and amazing to realize that if you’re breathing deeply you have to be in a space of relaxation it’s impossible not to be and if you’re breathing shallowly you have to be in a space of anxiety and it space of panic it’s impossible not to be so then with that awareness the simple truth comes in if I bring my awareness to it from breathing deeply or from breathing shallowly then I know if I’m in a space of freedom inner peace or a feminine space of anxiety and it’s it’s easy for me to shift by shifting my breath breath is something we do all the time every day we give very little attention to perhaps if we spend just a little bit more time a little bit more attention than to our breath we can live a little bit more in our body and as we live more in our body we can be aware of what our state is what our state of interaction is are we in a state of panic are we in a state of anxiety or are we in a state of freedom are we in a state of joy if we live in our body if we have that presence in our body we can truly experience something and as Bryan likes that likes to say where’s my breath it’s so important to get in tune with your body because your body is the mechanism which tells you exactly where you are your body is relaxed and open you’re in a space of inner peace and freedom and if your body’s tight and constricted you’re in a space of panic and anxiety I mean your body is the gateway the most practical gateway on a physical level to shift from a space of panic to freedom through awareness so goes the breath so goes the mind if the breath is calm the mind is calm if the breath is panicky the mind is panicking if those two things are panicky then the body becomes panicky if those two things are peaceful full of joy then the body becomes peaceful I’m full of joy and full of freedom so what’s amazing about the breath is you have access to it at any time of the day if you’re in a stressful place at work if you’re in a stressful place with your family at home wherever you are any kind of situation you find yourself in the essential question that you can ask at any moment is where is my breath where is my breath and it allows you to check in and then allows you to take a deep breath it allows you to recenter to refocus to be present on what’s happening right now in this moment Brian talks about the breath and calming and it’s very important and I’m gonna add something to that but I think is even it’s as important if you’re feeling yourself anxious if you’re feeling yourself in that space of anxiety notice your breath see where it is breathe deep when you’re breathing out put a smile on your face as you put a smile on your face it’s nearly impossible to be in a space of panic or anxiety and it definitely starts to lean it’s with space of freedom and if you just might feel compelled after that find somebody to hug
