Today in Tanzania, we rise together under
one sun. We buy and sell, cook and sew. We tend to our gardens, to our farms, and
to our animals. We raise our children to work hard so that
they will have a good future. All of these things that we do, every day,
help to make our community stronger. We are farmers, drivers, business people,
teachers, and learners. But at the end of the day, we are all Tanzanians;
and what’s more, we are all human beings. Today in Tanzania, and every day…tupo pamoja. That’s what we say to each other. Tupo pamoja, it means—we are together.
